DIANA LAUREN JONES

IN THE TIME OF COVID-19

A relentless commitment to doing what I love has allowed me to create and be a part of the communities who forged ahead to create these works (of which I am proud) during the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a long road ahead to address this public health crisis, and the film, theatre, and tv industries— truly, the whole arts ecosystem— to my mind will never be the same again — all of us in the arts and entertainment will have to adapt to survive. I am committed to learn from the past, honor the traditions and works that have fortified me, and surrender myself to the unavoidable process of evolution to shape a thrilling arts landscape of the future. Below this ever growing section of my portfolio, you can also find images and examples of my work from before February 2020.
...Hope you enjoyed King Lear, c/o
The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Our 3 month equity virtual run was a whopper. I laughed, cried, loved and hated this strange new way of working.

Read one review,  hit me up, and let's keep pushing those creative boundaries.

More than 15 years into my life as a Type 1 Diabetic, I had the privilege of "working" by talking about the glucose monitor I actually use, and my day job as an art teacher. Easiest gig ever :)

And consider

as I stretch myself as a solo artist

Working with others is an essential part of the creative process, but to me, working alone is equally important to my growth as a person, and an artist. So, as scary as it is at times, here I am braving what it is to be and create – alone.
